Conference Programme

The West African manufacturing sector needs a platform that offers clear, concise and incisive thought leadership that looks to the future and embraces all players in the industry.

NME & mPad is that platform.

Our programme is curated and created in cooperation with our Manufacturing Advisory Board and it features an exciting and inclusive range of content unlike any other manufacturing event, presented in innovative ways. Speakers from the whole spectrum of the sector put West Africa’s manufacturing transition into context, outline the challenges and opportunities it presents, and spotlight the innovative projects and technological solutions that will shape the evolution of manufacturing processes.

NEW! Exclusive Content

The Manufacturing sector is not only a crucial component but also a catalyst for economic growth and development in modern economies. It brings about numerous dynamic benefits that are essential for economic transformation. In most advanced countries, the manufacturing sector leads in several respects, providing a platform for increasing productivity through import replacement and export expansion. Furthermore, it creates foreign exchange earning capacity, raises employment opportunities, and increases per capita income, which ultimately leads to unique consumption patterns.

To address the pressing issues facing the Nigerian manufacturing sector, these round-table discussions have been developed to generate insightful discourse and innovative solutions. Through these discussions, stakeholders can collaborate and explore viable strategies to tackle the challenges faced by the sector and enhance its contribution to the Nigerian economy.

Manufacturing Partnerships for African Development (mPAD)

mPAD is an invite-only Government and CEO-level forum. A series of roundtable discussions, chaired by the DG and President of MAN, that address government policy and strategic-level industry topics, the roundtables host Federal Government Agencies, ECOWAS Officials, the MAN Executive Committee, International Trade Departments and Export Councils as well as C-level Industrialists and Financiers.

*mPAD sessions are strictly by invitation only.  To request a place at these sessions, contact Mariette Ford on Mariette@iec-exhibitions.com

Future Manufacturing Leaders

NME is passionate about supporting and facilitating the engagement between next-gen talent and the industry – after all, many will become the leaders of the manufacturing industry soon.

As part of this ongoing effort, NME will once again give young professionals, the opportunity to attend the event as a ‘Future Manufacturing Leader’, with full access to all the event has to offer.

We’re also aiming to ensure that the voices of the next-generation community are represented across both the Summit and  programme this year, so, as well as being an educational experience attending the event, there will be opportunities to participate in panel discussions with inspiring industry practitioners, present the findings of research projects and network and connect with key industry speakers and leading organisations at the forefront of manufacturing.
